CrossFit Strong Island is a premium, 7,500 square foot CrossFit strength and conditioning training facility located off Benson Lane in Merrick, Long Island, New York.

Our program efficiently combines the most effective training methods of Weightlifting, Gymnastics and High Intensity Cardio. There isn’t a strength and conditioning program anywhere that works with a greater diversity of tools, modalities and drills.

All of our training is done in a group class setting. The camaraderie of the group is what makes CrossFit and CrossFit Strong Island different than your regular run of the mill gym.

CrossFit for Kids: Saved by the Barbell
What: Join us Saturday, September 1, 2018, as we work out in support of kids’ fitness and health!
When: September 1, 2018
Time: Heats Start at 9am (next heat will be every 30 minutes last head starts at 10:30)
Who: The WOD is for all members but we encourage you to bring your children so they can get introduced into CrossFit (we’ll scale and coach them accordingly)
Cost: $35 includes T-shirt (all proceeds raised will support the CrossFit Foundations work to support childrens fitness)
WOD: 3 rounds for max reps of:
1 minute of burpees
1 minute of wall balls (20/14)
1 minute of deadlifts (115/75)
1 minute of Med ball sit-ups (20/14)
1 minute of hang power cleans (115/75)
1 minute of Rest

What: Endurance class

When: Every Wednesday night 7pm

Where: Could be track, could be bike path, who knows where Tommy will have you or what you’ll be doing but you’ll work your butt off and have fun.
